It’s tough to oversee work when we live 2,400 miles away. We are fortunate to have a great relationship with the two harbor managers in Maryland. Here’s where I will put in a plug for North Point Marina and Gratitude Marina in Rock Hall, Maryland.
The canvas measurements were taken. The fuel issue was mitigated. The shrink wrap was applied, leaving access to the interior via a zippered doorway. The stern thruster was installed (with dual helm controls).
Pete purchased new navionics. The Garmin tools will be installed in April. We’re still shopping for a storm anchor, buoy ball fenders, galley ware, and other boat necessities. We’re preparing our Smart House for extended absences. We’re making checklists left and right.
Our education continued with a USPS Piloting Course.
With Susan now retired, it’s easier to focus on our Great Loop adventure.
